Coming Earth Changes, the Yugas & Superconsciousness

Much has been said about the coming earth changes that our planet will be experiencing in the next ten to fifty years.

Some pundits say this “yuga shift” will come in 2032—a time when the old materialistic Kali Yuga fully transitions into the new Dwapara Yuga age of energy.  One author says the shift will come in 2025, and that within 15 years, by the year 2040, the old Kali Yuga civilization will collapse.  

For several months I have been talking with numerous psychics, researchers, devotees, authors. past-life regression experts, Akashic Readers, using my own intuition, and reviewing everything Yogananda and Kriyananda, have said about the coming earth changes and hard times ahead.

Here’s what I can share with you.

We are clearly in Dwapara Yuga, and have been, as Swami Sri Yukteswar has explained, for many years.  However, we are still feeling the effects of Kali Yuga, which means we still have remnants of old forms of materialism that have been blocking our transition into full Dwapara Yuga, the age of energy.   

Dr. David Frawley, head of the American Vedic Institute, once told me many years ago in a casual discussion that essentially, when the planet transitioned into full Dwapara Yuga, the old ways of Kali Yuga would totally collapse.  

A partial collapse is already happening in the realm of higher education.  The Covid outbreak created havoc with many schools and colleges.  Classes moved from the traditional brick and mortar campuses to online.  In-person activities were reduced drastically and there has been a movement away from “assembly-line testing and learning” to more personal, individualized learning.  

Yogananda once warned his followers, “you don’t know what a terrible cataclysm is coming!”  He advised people to move out from the cities to the country, buy land and live simply, demonstrating that “simple living and high thinking” will lead to the greatest happiness.  

He also never gave any specific date as to when this cataclysm would occur—leaving it up to us to intuit what’s coming.

According to Yogananda, Kriyananda, and many pundits and yogis, survivors to these projected earth changes will experience a renewed earth and time of great peace and harmony.  But hey, that could be many years from now.

Yogananda also remarked that in the next century the city of Boston would have a tropical climate, and the people there would be brown-skinned people. 

Swami Kriyananda, a disciple of Yogananda, and Ananda’s founder, always told us that difficult times and cataclysms could come.  He used to tell us to think about death every day, because we never know when our time is up.  And he said what difference if we go by comet, solar flare or massive earth changes.  Death is an exit from one world to the next. 

Kriyananda also told us that Yogananda said, “those who love God will be protected.”  I will leave that statement for each one of us to interpret individually. 

Dr. Robert Schoch, keynote speaker at our Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge (CPAK) here at Ananda Village next month, has a book, Forgotten Civilization that reveals how solar outbursts unleashed catastrophe upon ancient civilizations.  He has indicated we are experiencing an increase in solar flares from the sun.  A large solar flare could easily wipe out earth’s grid and the internet, causing a multitudinous collapse of earth’s society.

A friend who researches NDE (Near Death Experiences) shared with a me a video and story of a man who was shown the future in his NDE.  What he saw were little communities of light spread throughout the planet.  There were no borders.  In the center of each community was a type of temple where all the community members would meet.  In these gatherings they would help each other heal.  It was a very enlightening and encouraging future. 

As we draw closer to full Dwapara Yuga, more collapses will come, possibly in economics, government, science and even geography.  

Recently, scientists announced that the Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica, one of the largest glaciers in the world, roughly the size of Florida, has now been tagged “the Doomsday Glacier”.  Scientists have predicted its collapse could attribute to rapid sea rise.  And once it collapsed, other surrounding glacial basins could cause even higher sea rise.

These cataclysmic earth changes are not new.

From 1900 to 1945, Edgar Cayce, the sleeping prophet made many prophecies of cataclysmic events involving the whole planet. He claimed the polar axis would shift and that many areas that are now land would again become ocean floor, and that Atlantis would rise from the sea.

I can’t help but wonder what Divine Mother has planned for us in the years ahead.

During a zoom meeting with a few psychics and past-life regressors this question was asked, what’s coming and when?  The general consensus was that these changes would come gradually.  Perhaps there will be some big cataclysms.  

Whatever devastation may come, it will be a message for us to go inside, meditate more, use our intuition, plan to have quality satsang with other like-minded souls, and not forget to love courageously.
