Come home to your body. Listen within. Discover the wisdom that is already here.
What if emotional healing didn’t begin with trying to change yourself, fix yourself, or figure everything out?
What if it began with simply coming home to yourself—one breath, one sensation, one moment of kind attention at a time?
Somatic Tools for Emotional Healing is an experiential online course designed to help you reconnect with your body, develop a deeper relationship with your emotions, and cultivate greater compassion, inner support, and a sense of wholeness.
Our bodies are constantly communicating with us. Tension, breath, posture, sensations, impulses, and patterns of holding can all offer valuable information about our inner experience. Yet many of us have learned to live primarily from the mind—to think our way through difficult experiences while becoming increasingly disconnected from what is happening within the body.
This course offers another way.
Through gentle somatic practices, guided meditations, reflection, and simple tools you can return to again and again, you will learn to slow down, listen inwardly, and develop a more compassionate relationship with your own experience.
In this course, you will explore:
🌿 Reconnecting with your body
Develop interoceptive awareness and begin noticing the sensations, tensions, movements, and subtle signals that arise within you. Learn to meet your body with curiosity rather than judgment.
🌬️ Finding your natural breath
Explore the relationship between breath, holding, and emotional experience. Discover what happens when you allow the breath to become more natural and begin listening to the body’s own intelligence.
💛 Cultivating compassionate awareness
Learn how the quality of your attention can transform your experience. Practice bringing warmth, kindness, appreciation, and compassion to the places within you that may need support.
🌊 Developing somatic language
Learn to recognize and name physical sensations with greater precision. Instead of immediately analyzing what you feel, you will practice becoming curious about the direct experience of your body.
❤️ Working with emotions
Discover a simple, embodied approach to difficult emotions: noticing what is present, locating it in the body, and meeting it with kindness.
🛡️ Understanding protective patterns
Explore the protective parts of yourself and the ways they may show up as habitual tension, holding, or other bodily patterns. Rather than fighting these parts, you will learn to approach them with respect and compassion.
🌱 Meeting yourself where you are
Let go of the pressure to become an “ideal” version of yourself and begin connecting with the self that is here right now. Through grounding and embodied awareness, explore what it feels like to return to your own center.
🏡 Building inner and outer resources
Learn ways to access experiences, people, places, nature, movement, creativity, and other sources of support that help you feel more grounded, nourished, and connected.
✨ Exploring core beliefs and missing experiences
Gently explore the beliefs that may shape how you relate to yourself and the world, and discover what supportive experiences may help create new possibilities.
A gentle, experiential approach
