Bruce Burger, MA, R.P.P., Polarity Therapy. Bruce is the founder of Heartwood Institute, one of the world’s leading centers for professional training in massage and somatic psychology. He is author of the highly acclaimed Esoteric Anatomy: The Body as Consciousness (North Atlantic Books, 1998), a scholarly exploration of energy in the healing arts, and considered “the bible” for polarity therapy. He has been a member of the faculties of the University of Nevada and Rutgers University. Bruce teaches in the area of Holistic Health & Healing at Ananda University.
