Yoga Institute — Certificate of Higher Consciousness

The Certificate of Higher Consciousness is a 30-credit interdisciplinary consciousness-based educational program designed to help students integrate inner growth, purposeful living, and practical service into everyday life. Rooted in the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda and Swami Kriyananda, the program explores the relationship between higher consciousness and modern fields such as leadership, education, entrepreneurship, sustainability, psychology, architecture, and the arts.

Students may select 10 courses of their choice from a diverse interdisciplinary curriculum in the areas of:

  • Environmental Science and Sustainability
  • Architecture and Conscious Living
  • Education for Life Teacher Training

Courses are offered through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous instruction, allowing students to engage with the program in a flexible and accessible format while participating in a supportive learning community.

The total cost of the Certificate of Higher Consciousness program does not exceed $2,500, inclusive of all coursework and instructional materials associated with the certificate. Each course is worth 3 credits towards your certificate. Course lengths range from 9-15 weeks. Specific details regarding scheduling will be shared upon your acceptance into the certificate program. Approximate time to complete the entire Certificate of Higher Consciousness is 12 months.
